Updated the design of this healthcare data aggregator’s brand with the energy and excitement inherent in its mission and team. Color, contrast and clarity of visuals reflects the clear insight users are able to glean from their data. Updated the marketing materials, website and sales slide decks, codified design standards, built out icon families and established photography standards.

Joined this enterprise-class data storage company in its early stages, designing the corporate logo and all the marketing elements that went into building the brand: Brochures, datasheets, website graphic elements, presentations, signage and event/booth graphics. Had a hand in designing corporate and partner advertising campaigns – online, print, and directmail – and designed numerous other publications including the in-house, industry-focused magazine. The company was acquired by Oracle Corporation in 2011.

Natera, a leading genetic testing company, is reinventing the non-invasive prenatal screening sector, reassuring expectant mothers and their physicians of more accurate outcomes.
I led the small, in-house creative services team and revamped the brand look-and-feel to align more closely with their audience of primarily expectant mothers (at the time). Evolved the logo for clarity and impact, and redesigned all the marketing materials, conference event signage and outbound campaign materials.

Designed the site for Charles Schwab's giant Investment management arm, with the team at Coakley Heagerty. Incorporated their new branding look and feel with the functional requirements of the data-dense site'd many page template types.
Corporate Identity created for one of the early online car dealer sites back in the late 1990s. Used a abstraction of the friendly "peoples" car as an icon. The company was acquired by CarsDirect a short time later.

OCTOBER – 2000
Corporate identity design for an email service that specialized in delivering rich-media messaging back in the late 1990s. The logo captured the notion of sending a message with a folded paper airplane visual – a playful anachronism in an all digital era.

Proposed corporate identity design directions created to rebrand the Silicon Valley advertising agency Coakley Heagerty, with their new name, HyperRelevance.
Was a member of Bill Cleary's virtual agency through the 2000s, where I created the corporate identity system. Bill was an avid collector of antique war figurines and we thought it was an intriguing idea to incorporate these as elements that represented the focus and strategic aspects of the agency.

Leveraged their leadership position with world-class customers in a testimonial campaign with headlines that linked the industry sector as well as the financial benefit achieved by the computing power of SGI.

Proposed logo concept for Disney's main web portal back in the late 1990s called the GO Network. Presented as one of several options by our team at CKS Partners.
Created an identity system for a financial services company that traded in commercial real estate. The logo illustrated the notion that the investment vehicle is an additional dimension of the tangible property.
Created a new look for SolarCity's website back in 2012 while working at the agency HyperRelevance.
Website graphics for Tegile, the enterprise storage company. Created numerous banner ads, diagrams and other online elements.
2013
Created a print and online advertising campaign for VCE, a partnership of technology giants - EMC, Cisco and VMware. Huge in the "Converged Infrastructure" category of enterprise hardware, VCE wanted a clear, straightforward message, so we employed succinct, bold headlines set oversized against a very dark visual theme - which emphasized the power and solidity of their product.
Teamed up with John Avilla and designed these ads for Xircom's new PCMCIA product. Double entendre headlines stressed the then novel notion that an ethernet dongle was unnecessary.
2012
A series of interactive landing pages with multiple images of the same scene/solution from different angles. They illustrate the myriad details, environments and interactions brought into play when offering cloud services in a particular situation. The photo panels have rollover states that link to additional levels of information.
